Yuva Niti Urban Policy Challenge – UrbanPolicython
UrbanPolicython is a city-level policy-making competition designed to engage college students in developing innovative,
practical, and sustainable public policy solutions. Participants will work on 10 major urban problem statements
and propose implementable policy frameworks focused on improving governance, infrastructure, sustainability,
and quality of life.
The competition aims to:
• Promote youth participation in policy-making
• Build problem-solving and analytical skills
• Encourage data-driven, citizen-centric solutions
• Create a pipeline of young policy innovators for urban development
Yuva Niti - S01S01
K.L.E. College of Arts, Commerce & Science, Kalamboli
The inaugural session of Yuva Niti – A Policy Dialogue by Infinity Foundation was held on 10th October 2025 at K.L.E. College of Arts, Commerce & Science, Kalamboli, at 10:00 AM. The session was chaired by Dr. Vijay Mendulkar, Principal of the college, and moderated by Mr. Ayuf Akula, President of Infinity Foundation. Around 100 enthusiastic students from various streams participated in this thought-provoking dialogue.
The expert panel included Adv. Raj Saraf, Mr. Vivek Sonawane, Mr. Amit Bhalerao, and Ms. Rhea Kanolkar, who shared their insights on youth participation in policy-making, governance, and sustainable development. Students discussed issues like climate change, education reform, and leadership in governance, presenting innovative ideas for local policy solutions.
The session reflected the energy and awareness of the youth, highlighting their eagerness to contribute to nation-building. It concluded with a vote of thanks and an invitation to join upcoming initiatives like the Yuva Sansad and Yuva Niti Fellowship.

Ramsheth Thakur Secondary & Higher Secondary Vidyalaya, Kharghar
The second session of Yuva Niti was held at Ramsheth Thakur Secondary & Higher Secondary Vidyalaya, Kharghar, on 10th October 2025 at 1:00 PM. The program was chaired by Mrs. Nisha Nair, Principal of the institution, and moderated by Mr. Ayuf Akula, President of Infinity Foundation. More than 120 students actively participated in the discussions, making the event lively and interactive.
The same panel of experts — Adv. Raj Saraf, Mr. Vivek Sonawane, Mr. Amit Bhalerao, and Ms. Rhea Khanolkar — guided the students through real-world policy perspectives and the role of youth in governance. The discussions focused on civic responsibility, sustainability, and digital transformation in education. Students expressed their ideas confidently, suggesting practical solutions for waste management, climate awareness, and responsible citizenship.
The atmosphere was one of inspiration and engagement, as students realized the power of their voice in shaping policy narratives. The session concluded with a commitment to form a Yuva Niti Samiti at the college level to carry forward the dialogue regularly.

Tilak Junior College of Commerce & Science, Nerul
The third session of Yuva Niti was held at Tilak Junior College of Commerce & Science, Nerul, on 10th October 2025 at 3:00 PM. The event was chaired by Dr. Heena Samani, Principal of the college, and moderated by Mr. Ayuf Akula. Around 100 students attended the session, which turned into a vibrant exchange of ideas and experiences.
The expert panel addressed key themes such as climate adaptation, youth empowerment, education equality, and mental health. Students shared their thoughts on how governance and policies directly affect their lives and future aspirations. Dr. Heena Samani appreciated Infinity Foundation for initiating such a meaningful platform and encouraged students to be more involved in civic and policy activities.
The discussions were marked by curiosity, awareness, and a genuine desire to understand policymaking. The session concluded with a group photo, felicitation of speakers, and a heartfelt vote of thanks, marking the successful completion of the first phase of Yuva Niti 2025.
